After a long period of little activity, the Western North Carolina Pilot’s Association is making plans to reactivate all of its pre-COVID-19 activities:
The Executive Committee met on Tuesday, September 14th to discuss a slate of candidates for the upcoming election and a variety of other topics.
A general meeting is tentatively scheduled for November within the CAP hanger at AVL. We are hopeful that this well ventilated venue will make COVID less of an issue, but we know that each of you will need to make personal decisions about this. More details will be posted here later.
The fly-in lunch on September 25 was very well attended, with 7 aircraft and 13 hungry people in attendance. We plan to continue this tradition going forward with monthly fly-ins to airports within an hour or so by air of KAVL.
