Those of us who are handy with twisting wrenches may ponder questions like that one. It is a complicated topic: different levels of pilot licensure grant different privileges for repairing your own aircraft, and the list of repairs or maintenance items that pilots are permitted to perform themselves is, well, complicated!
FAA to the rescue! On Tuesday, September 15th, WNCPA will host Chad Spoon as our speaker, to discuss FAR-permitted pilot maintenance for WINGS credit. Thanks are due to Bill Pendergrass for his help arranging this presentation.
A pizza dinner ($5.00 donation suggested) will be served at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center, with the presentation to follow. If no parking space is available in front of the building, we have free use of Lot B just north of our meeting place, in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
