Despite the wise words of the poet Mic Jagger, our next speaker, Mark Schreier, begs to differ–at least in certain situations. Mark’s ATC work experience has led him to assert that, when talking with Air Traffic Control, it is just a matter of how you phrase your in-flight request.
Come hear him discuss his topic, “How to Get ANYTHING You Want from ATC” on Tuesday, September 16th. This presentation is for WINGS credit: click HERE to register for the event to get the credit.
Pizza will be served at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center. The suggested donation for the meal is $5.00–a pretty sweet bargain in these days when it is difficult to find any meal for less than $10.00!
If no parking space is available in front of the building, we have free use of Lot B just north of our meeting place, in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
An added treat to this month’s meeting will be the attendance of WNCPA “Lifetime Member”, Former WNCPA President, Co-founder of the WNCPA Educational Foundation, Flight Instructor, Mentor, and long-time dear friend to many of us, CINDY CARTER! Cindy moved to Colorado in 2017 to be near her family. Come early and spend some time saying hello to Cindy.
