The WNCPA Board has created a Yahoo Group for essential email communications between members. Participation is voluntary but highly encouraged since it will streamline member communications. Many have already signed up and the process is simple. Try it and if you don’t like it you can deactivate or even deactivate temporarily, say, if you are traveling.

There are some basic rules.

1. You must be a WNCPA member to belong.

2. The email group is intended to be used by members to communicate only about topics of interest to other WNCPA members or about WNCPA activities. Emails might include information about fly-out dates, destinations, or cancellations. You might want to let others know that you have an extra seat available for a fly-out or event or you could ask if anyone has an extra seat available. You could also post that you have an aviation-related item for sale, including brief details about the item.

3. This is not a discussion group. There are plenty of forums available for discussions. Please no posts about political or religious topics.

4. Keep it short. To minimize email traffic, try to reply back only to the sender and not “to all” when responding to a post. Limit your replies “to all” to those that are absolutely necessary. It is also not necessary to send a reply just to thank someone for a post.

The moderator will contact anyone who is not abiding by these guidelines.

How do I join?

To sign up, go to www.yahoogroups.com and search for the “WNCPILOT” group. Click on “WNCPILOT” and then click on the “Subscribe” email address near the bottom of the page. You will then receive an auto-reply that will allow you to confirm your request to join the group. Once you are verified as a WNCPA member, you will be added to the group. Note this may take up to 24 hours.
