On Tuesday May 20th, Skip Capone will deliver a presentation entitled “FARS–They May Not Mean What You Think They Do.” Skip, a member of our board, has taught a class on this subject to pilots in training, and will now honor us with a condensed version of his lectures to those students. His presentation is filled with examples of the application of these principles gleaned from actual NTSB case files, which should make his talk particularly interesting and digestible!
The fun begins with a meal at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center. If no parking space is available in front of the building, use the spaces in the adjacent maintenance yard (gate 24), in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
