MOSAIC: it is a lot more than just flying with a Drivers License for a medical!
Join us on Tuesday, February 17th for the monthly WNCPA presentation. Mike Cavanaugh will cover updates to pilot training and certification requirements, the removal of the light-sport aircraft definition and a lot more. WINGS Credit will be available.
In case you hadn’t heard, MOSAIC stands for Modernization Of Special AIrworthiness Certification, and is a major change to FAA rules. This session will cover important updates to pilot training and certification requirements, the removal of the light-sport aircraft definition from 14 CFR 1.1, new airworthiness certification standards, and changes to operational rules and limitations. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how these changes will impact training, certification, and aircraft operations.
As always, dinner will be served at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center, with the presentation to follow. The suggested donation for the meal is $5.00.
If no parking space is available in front of the building, we have free use of Lot B just north of our meeting place, in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
