The list of advantages of aging is a short one. One item on this short list is that, once our members have flipped a sufficient number of calendar pages after their first solo flight, they become eligible for the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.
Our member Graig Kirkpatrick has not only flipped the requisite pages, but has done so while acquiring a number of interesting flight experiences. After Mike Cavanaugh has presented him with the award, he will relay stories of those experiences in his consistently entertaining style of “hangar flying.”
The presentation will occur on Tuesday, January 20th. As always, dinner will be served at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center, with the presentation to follow. The suggested donation for the Arby’s Sliders meal is $5.00.
If no parking space is available in front of the building, we have free use of Lot B just north of our meeting place, in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
